A group of pine trees glimmered among the lowly lit bare trees. They looked spectacular. I walked over to get a closer look. Each pine needle looked like it had hundreds of microscopic stars that would transverse back and forth. I could see them oscillate in brightness as they moved along the pine needles. Some of the baby stars seemed to travel back to the branches. It was acting like a secondary circulatory system but instead of blood, light traveled in the veins. I took a few steps back to gaze at the conifers. They looked like the most gloriously light Christmas
